BAML and ETF Securities launch first ETF to track European equity volatility

Bank of America Merrill Lynch and ETF Securities have partnered to list an ETF based on the volatility of the European market.

Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) and ETF Securities have launched an exchange-traded fund (ETF) that tracks European market volatility.

The fund is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is based on the Eurostoxx 50 Investable Volatility Index, which is comprised of more than 100 listed options for the European benchmark index.

ETF Securities is providing the platform and the marketing for the fund, while BAML is the swap counterparty and market-maker. This is the first time that exposure
