Former Thomson Reuters risk business on the lookout for acquisitions, says CEO

Thomson Reuters completes the sale of its trade and risk management business to Vista Equity Partners, and the new company – called Turaz – already has its eye on acquisitions, says chief executive Bret Bolin

The former Thomson Reuters trade and risk management business - now named Turaz following the sale of the unit to private equity firm Vista - is on the lookout for acquisitions as part of a plan to grow the business.

The sale of the unit to Vista Equity Partners for an undisclosed sum was announced last September, and formally completes today. Already, the new company is looking at how it can expand its reach through acquisition, says Bret Bolin, chief executive and president.
