CMG Releases Its CAD Module: 'Not The Worst' Is One Client's Verdict

Computer Management Group (CMG) has delivered its Capital Adequacy Directive (CAD) software package to meet the European Union's new capital requirements, due to come into force on January 1 next year.

CMG formed a consortium of banks nearly a year ago to jointly develop software to meet the January 1 deadline. This consortium includes the Royal Bank of Scotland, SBC Warburg, Hambros Bank, Saudi International Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.

However, industry observers say many vendors -
