Hellman & Friedman to buy OpenLink
New-York-based commodity software firm OpenLink has announced its owners The Carlyle Group will sell it to a US private equity firm
The Carlyle Group has agreed to sell OpenLink, a software provider for commodity, energy, agribusiness and financial markets, to affiliates of private equity firm Hellman & Friedman. The deal is subject to traditional closing conditions and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2011. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
