Paladyne integrates data from Markit Group

Paladyne Systems is to include credit pricing and reference entity data from Markit into its suite of products. The two companies believe hedge fund professionals will benefit from standardisation of derivatives trading that Paladyne's Security Master and Price Master products will now offer.

Paladyne has integrated Markit RED, Markit iTraxx and Markit CDX index constituent data, single-name credit curves and other Markit content.

Markit RED (Reference Entity Database) is an industry standard for reference entity and reference obligation identifiers used in the credit default swap markets, including online trading, standard documentation and trade settlement.

Paladyne's products include order management, real-time profit and loss and portfolio management, portfolio accounting, custom reporting, data warehousing and analytics, and reference data management.

By offering securities terms and conditions, corporate actions and end-of-day pricing and valuation data from Markit, Paladyne says it can provide immediate access to data in order to meet hedge funds' trading and operational requirements.
