IDEAglobal moves into credit derivatives

IDEAglobal, a Singapore-based market research company best known for its fixed-income commentary, is moving into credit derivatives.

Credit Derivatives Today, which launches today, is an online commentary service providing a mix of strategic and intra-day coverage, John Atkins, chief market analyst at IDEAglobal, told RiskNews' sister publication Inside Market Data. It follows the introduction of Credit Derivatives Morning Briefing, a month-old service designed to offer a more in-depth, strategic view of the market.

Credit Derivatives Today offers real-time coverage of the credit sector, including trade recommendations from a company-by-company analysis of credits within a sector and a sector-wide assessment of sector risk reward, said Atkins. The new offering also provides intra-day market intelligence on market flows, rumours and market psychology, updated as news occurs.

It will initially be available on Reuters and Bloomberg, but there are plans to launch a web-based platform by the end of the year.
