Currenex and RCP launch buy-side interface

Global online currency exchange Currenex and UK-based straight-through processing (STP) specialist RCP Consultants have developed an interface that offers immediate connectivity between Currenex’s FX trading system and many treasury and portfolio management systems.

The new interface facilitates automatic capture of trade data from Currenex’s FX deal ticket application program interface (API) and transferral of data to a range of buy-side systems.

Straight-through processing is possible with a variety of portfolio management and treasury management systems, including Reuters’ Kondor+ and Sungard’s Quantum.

The partnership with RCP gives Currenex’s members the ability to implement integration immediately without the usual overhead of building custom solutions to achieve STP, claimed Lori Mirek, New York-based president and chief executive of Currenex.
