HVB offers automated pricing via Currenex

HypoVereinsbank (HVB) has made its automated pricing mechanism available on Currenex’s FXtrades foreign exchange platform.

The German bank and Currenex – the online global currency exchange – have integrated their systems using Cognotec’s AutoDeal Lite pricing engine.

More than 50 banks provide liquidity on the Currenex service. The exchange hopes to give all of these banks the opportunity to offer their automated foreign exchange pricing systems via FXtrades, according to Lori Mirek, New York-based president and chief executive of Currenex.
