CLS adds Scandinavian currencies to continuous linked settlement service

NEW YORK -- Three Scandinavian currencies -- the Swedish, Danish and Norwegian crowns -- will be added to the seven currencies already eligible for trading on the planned continuous linked settlement (CLS) service for currency markets.

CLS Bank International, the New York-based consortium that aims to provide the service, said in mid-October that the three currencies would be added as soon as arrangements could be made. The bank plans to start the service, which has suffered from delays, in the
