Problems associated with the fallout in the US subprime market have kept many derivatives market participants close to their desks in the past few months. But the Asia Risk 2007 Congress, held in November at Hong Kong's Island Shangri-La, attracted some 350 delegates, including hedge fund executives, asset managers, corporate treasurers, bankers, consultants and regulators.
