CIBC Deploys Inventure's Ranger For Middle Office VAR Analytics

CANADIAN Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) has rolled out new risk analysis software to market risk managers at its Toronto headquarters. The bank is using Ranger, an "analytical operating system" developed by New York-based Inventure.

Michel Crouhy, CIBC's vice president for global market risk management analytics, says he hopes Ranger will provide risk managers with more accurate and flexible VAR analytics.
