Sibos Delegates Consider Plans For Continuous Linked Forex Settlement

SIBOS, the annual Swift-sponsored conference for operations managers at financial institutions, was held earlier this month in Sydney. Top of the agenda was the issue of settlement risk in the foreign exchange markets.

The Sibos conference came hot on the heels of the merger announcement of three major organizations devoted to tackling forex settlement risk: CLS Services, the Exchange Clearing House (Echo) and Multinet International Bank (RMO, October 6).
