Amelia Systems Plans Higher Level OpRisk IT

LONDON -- Amelia Financial Systems expects to make the next and more sophisticated tier of its operational risk management system available within six months, says director David Withey.

The tier-two version of Amelia's Operational Risk Co-Assessor (ORCAS) will incorporate some of the mathematical models and analytical tools that were originally intended for the earlier version but were left out because customers did not need them at that stage, Withey says.
