Hong Kong warns banks to plan for Basle II op risk charges

HONG KONG -- Banks must plan on the basis that the complex Basle II bank accord will go ahead on its revised schedule and that it will include an explicit capital charge for operational risk, a senior Hong Kong bank regulator said in May.
