Driving good culture from the top of a firm down is the big challenge facing banks promoting ethical behaviour, delegates at a British Banker's Association (BBA) conference in London heard on December 4.

Culture change was a central topic at the BBA's "Better Banking" conference, and speakers highlighted the ability of boards to spread change downwards as one of the hardest tasks facing the industry.
