SEC must come clean on stance over hedge funds

There are few things the markets like as little as uncertainty. An unexpected warning, a public stoush or mixed messages will spook traders, often more than justified.

The same can be said for industries, the hedge fund industry included. As our report on due diligence makes clear, America's Securities & Exchange Commission has grasped this maxim as poorly as it has grasped in many respects the hedge fund industry.
