European Banking Authority chief says speculation on results of European stress test are “completely unfounded”

Andrea Enria, the chairman of the European Banking Authority, said on Wednesday that speculation about the results of the latest round of stress tests on European banks was "completely unfounded".

Speaking at the British Bankers' Association's Annual International Banking Conference, he said the final results had not yet been reached but that they were "well into the quality assurance and peer review process".
