US regulator fails to vote on position limits proposal; questions raised about data availability

A Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) vote on a long-awaited proposal to set position limits for physical commodity trading was postponed until further notice yesterday after Chairman Gary Gensler said it needed to 'ripen'.
