FSA confirms Article 4 notifications
The FSA sends notification to European Commission for additional requirements for Mifid under Article 4.
The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has confirmed its intention to retain requirements in a small number of areas that appear likely to require notification to the Commission under Article 4 of the Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Mifid) Level 2 Directive.
Article 4 limits the scope for EU Member States to apply additional requirements in certain areas covered by Mifid. It sets out the conditions for creating or retaining national requirements that go beyond Mifid, and requires
