Bear Stearns signs up for Orchestria 4.0

NEW YORK – Investment bank Bear Stearns has adopted the Orchestria 4.0 solution for electronic communication management and compliance. Orchestria's software for active policy management helps to ensure that electronic messages comply with regulations from organisations such as the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD), the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and with internal corporate policies.

Orchestria helps prevent non-compliant messages from being sent, stored or posted, and scrutinises all acts of non-compliance to deter repeat offences.

Not only do financial firms have to take seriously the threat of spam and virus attacks, they also need to comply with regulatory requirements around electronic communication.
