Chinese Trust Association places the onus on structuring banks to guard against mis-selling

The Trust Association of the Republic of China (Taiwan) has produced a draft of what it has classed as a master agreement outlining the terms of the structured product manufacturer-distributor relationship. The agreement contravenes the non-binding retail structured products principles for managing the provider-distributor relationship drafted by five leading trade associations in July last year.
