ABN turns to Hong Kong

ABN Amro is planning to transfer staff to Hong Kong as part of a drive to focus its Asian derivatives business on the Special Administrative Region (SAR). An ABN official in Singapore says staff will be shifted from the Lion City, but that it’s too early to say how many will move. “Generally it would be more pan-regional roles,” she says. “Local roles would not be affected at all at this stage.”
