Emma Richardson has been promoted to global head of futures and derivatives clearing at JP Morgan, according to an internal memo seen by Risk.net. She takes over from Nick Rustad, who requested a leave of absence to spend time with his family.

Rustad is expected to return to JP Morgan. “Upon his return he will move to another opportunity within the firm and I look forward to welcoming him back,” reads the memo, which was sent by Jason Sippel, the bank’s global head of equities.
