People: JP Morgan names co-heads of rates trading

JP Morgan has named Charles Bristow and Thomas Pluta co-heads of global rates trading, replacing Kanav Bhagat, who will move on from the role but is understood to be seeking new opportunities within the firm. Under the new leadership, JP Morgan will integrate the rates and short-term interest rate trading (Stirt) businesses. Both will report to Troy Rohrbaugh, global head of macro trading.

Bristow will continue to be based in London, and adds the responsibility of co-head of global rates trading
