JP Morgan creates regional CRO roles

Europe and Asia operations get their own chief risk officers

JP Morgan has promoted two veteran risk managers to newly created chief risk officer (CRO) roles for its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific regional divisions.

Joe Holderness, formerly global head of the bank's credit portfolio group (CPG), will head up the EMEA risk function, while Joe Regan, formerly chief of staff of the bank's Asian operations, will now be CRO for the region.
