DME appoints Fix as chief executive

The Dubai Mercantile Exchange appoints new chief executive from BNP Paribas

Christopher Fix - DME

Christopher Fix has been appointed as the new chief executive for the Dubai Mercantile Exchange (DME).

Fix has over 20 years of experience in the commodities markets, including for BNP Paribas in New York, Paris and Asia since 1992. He leaves the bank having served as the former head of marketing for commodity futures (Asia-Pacific).

The appointment of Fix is a "real tangible expression" of the commitment the DME has made to place more emphasis on the Asian markets, says acting chief executive
