Stefan Walter, former secretary-general of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, has joined consulting firm Ernst & Young.

Walter left his Basel role in October 2011, and told Risk in his last interview in the role that he would be returning to New York – although he declined to say what post he would be taking (Risk November 2011, pages 60–63).
