Harcourt appoints van Houten as head of risk

CRO of Swiss investment firm to leave in May

Zurich-based investment firm Harcourt, a member of investment management group Vontobel, has appointed Armand van Houten as head of alternative products and risk management.

In this newly created role, van Houten will be responsible for the firm's risk management, and will report to Vontobel's head of asset management Axel Schwarzer. He replaces chief risk officer Frédéric Berney, who has announced that he will leave the company on May 31 to focus on understanding the investment landscape in
