Chartis appoints chief risk officer

Alexander Baugh promoted from CEO of Chartis Europe

New York-based commercial insurance firm Chartis, a subsidiary of American International Group (AIG), has appointed Alexander Baugh as chief risk officer and head of strategic planning.

He will be responsible for improving the company's risk profile and driving its strategic aims in alignment with AIG, and will report to AIG's chief risk officer Sid Sankaran.
