Old Mutual appoints group risk officer

Sue Kean has been promoted to the role from head of governance and regulatory compliance

London-based investment and savings group Old Mutual has appointed Sue Kean as group risk officer, effective from January 1, 2012.

Kean will replace Andrew Birrell following his resignation as group risk and actuarial director. She will report to group chief executive Julian Roberts, while Jason Baker, group head of risk, and Mark Baxter, who has been appointed as deputy chief risk officer and group chief actuary, will report to Kean directly.
