Nomura promotes Jotwani

Tarun Jotwani becomes head of global markets

Tarun Jotwani has been promoted to the role of executive vice-president and head of global markets at Japanese bank Nomura.

Based in London, Jotwani will lead Nomura’s fixed income and equities teams, having previously been its chief executive officer for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

John Phizackerley, currently joint chief administrative officer of the wholesale division, will replace Jotwani as CEO for EMEA.
