RBC nabs BarCap’s Taor for public debt role

Canadian bank names Sean Taor as global head of public sector debt capital markets and syndicate.

RBC Capital Markets has hired Sean Taor as global head of public sector debt capital markets and syndicate.

Taor joins directly from Barclays Capital, where he has worked for the last 18 years. His most recent position was global head of rates syndicate, which he held for three years.

Taor is based in London in his new role, and reports to Harry Samuel and Jonathan Hunter, global co-heads of fixed income and currencies at RBC Capital Markets.
