RBC Capital Markets adds Glenn Anson to head central bank sales in Asia

RBC has hired 70 employees this year in a bid to build its presence in the Asia-Pacific region

Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Capital Markets has hired Glenn Anson as a managing director and global co-head of central bank sales, a newly created position. Anson will relocate to Hong Kong from London and work with London-based co-head of the global business, Michael Agridhiotis, to be responsible of the Toronto-based bank's central banks coverage.

Anson was most recently with Nomura, as head of central bank sales in London. Prior to that, he held similar roles at Royal Bank of Scotland
