Juillard: set to join Goldman Sachs in Hong Kong

Goldman Sachs has hired the founder of the structured finance division at Axa Investment Managers as its head of Asian financial institutions structuring.

Based in Hong Kong, Pierre-Emmanuel Juillard will become a partner at the bank, and will report to Yusuf Allireza, head of securities for Asia.

Juillard’s starting date at Goldman Sachs is expected to be within two months. As Axa is not a direct competitor of Goldman Sachs, he has not been required to go on an extended period of gardening leave
