UBS snares Siddiqi as head for fixed-income corporate coverage in Asia

UBS has hired Lutfey Siddiqi as managing director and head of the fixed-income, currencies and commodities (FICC) corporate coverage group (CCG) for Asia-Pacific, a newly created role.

Based in Singapore, Siddiqi will report to London-based global head of FX distribution George Athanasopoulos. In Asia, he will report to Andrew Kleeger and Gerald Chan, co-heads of FICC distribution.Siddiqi will sit on the Asia-Pacific FICC executive committee of the Swiss bank.
