Babson opens Asian mezzanine group
US asset manager Babson Capital has set up an eight-person Asia-Pacific mezzanine and private equity finance team. Four members of the team will be based in Sydney: Shane Forster and Adam Wheeler join from AMP Capital Investors, where they managed a portfolio of Asian and Australian mezzanine and private debt; and Elliott Wong and Adrian Ng were previously mezzanine debt portfolio managers for a Babcock & Brown affiliate.
The team will be led by Michael Hermsen, who will be based in Los Angeles
