GLG multimanager founder retires

Paul Harvey, founder and chief executive of the multimanager investment (MMI) business at the London fund manager GLG, will retire at the end of February.

The company will hire Luke Ellis, former chief executive at the fund manager Financial Risk Management, as non-executive chairman of the MMI business. The new joint heads of the MMI business, Neil Hobson and Jonathan Howard, will report to Ellis.
