New chief information officer at options clearer, OCC

The Chicago-based Options Clearing Corporation has named Raymond Tamayo as its new chief information officer (CIO).

Tamayo was previously Citigroup's director of IT development and infrastructure management. As chief information officer, he will report to OCC's chief operating officer, Michael Cahill. He succeeds the acting chief information officer and first vice-president in charge of production services, Ronald Bawelkiewicz, who took over the role in June after the departure of the previous
