Fidelity names Lindman as Asia chief

Fidelity International has hired Arne Lindman from Prudential Corporation Asia as chief executive of its Asia-Pacific operations, effective from April 19. He will report to vice-chairman, Barry Bateman.

Lindman replaces Brett Goodin, who stepped down in May 2009. Since then, Fidelity Japan president, Thomas Balk, has been interim president.

Lindman has been replaced at Prudential by Graham Mason, who reports to Barry Stowe, chief executive of Prudential in Asia. Mason joins from Prudential
