Morgan Stanley capital markets co-head leaves

John Hyman, co-head of global capital markets at Morgan Stanley in London, has left the bank, citing personal reasons.

A Morgan Stanley official said Hyman had not been lured away to a rival firm, but wanted to take time out from the banking industry for undisclosed personal motives. He did not know if Hyman planned to return.

The bank will not look for a replacement. Instead, Hyman's New York-based counterpart, Raj Dhanda, will take sole responsibility for the business.
