SEC names new head of inspections

The US Securities and Exchange Commission has named Carlo di Florio as the new director of its office of compliance inspections and examinations. Di Florio, previously a partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers' financial services regulatory practice, fills the seat left vacant by Lori Richards in July last year.
