Brown joins Barclays in EM syndicate role

Barclays Capital has named Jonathan Brown as its new head of emerging markets syndicate and European credit syndicate. He joins from UBS, where he spent four years in a similar role. Prior to that, he was global head of emerging market syndicate at JPMorgan. He also spent two years at Deutsche Bank.

Brown replaces Andy Jones who relocates to Singapore to become co-head of global finance and risk solutions for Asia, alongside Patrick Kwan. In his new role, which he starts in August, Brown reports
