RBS hires head of equity derivatives strategy

RBS Global Banking and Markets has appointed Stephen Einchcomb as head of equity derivatives strategy for Europe and the US.

Einchcomb, who started on August 24 and is based in London, reports to Hong Kong-based Shane Edwards, the global head of equity derivatives structuring. Einchcomb will be responsible for identifying equity derivatives trading and hedging opportunities for institutional clients, including hedge funds and real-money asset managers.

Prior to joining RBS, he worked at JP Morgan for 10 years, where he was most recently head of equity derivatives strategy for Europe. Previously he worked in treasury at Barclays and at QuantiSci as a mathematical consultant.
