Bossuyt, head of Islamic finance and structuring at Deutsche Bank departs

Geert Bossuyt, Deutsche Bank's head of Islamic finance and head of structuring for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), has left the bank, along with Ricardo Honegger, head of global markets, MENA (Middle East & North Africa). Honegger will retire and move to Japan with his family.

Deutsche's head of Islamic structuring, Hussein Hassan, will take up the positions of head of Islamic finance and head of structuring, MENA. Salman Al-Khalifa has been named head of global markets, MENA. He was previously head of global markets sales for MENA at the bank. These appointments are both effective immediately.

Hassan will report regionally to Al-Khalifa and also to Daniel Morley, head of emerging markets structuring in London. Al-Khalifa reports to Yassine Bouhara, global head of
