BNPP adds Tranter as head of European equity derivatives flow sales

Nick Tranter will join BNP Paribas as head of European Equity Derivatives Flow Sales on January 28. Tranter will also oversee the French bank’s equity derivatives business with UK clients. He will report to Denis Frances, global head of equity derivatives flow sales and to Shaun Wainstein, head of BNP Paribas’ Equities & Derivatives Platform in London.

Tranter joins BNP from Morgan Stanley, where he was a managing director and head of Pan-European structured and flow equity derivatives sales. He spent over 10 years at Morgan Stanley in a variety of equity derivatives sales roles. Previously, he worked as an equity derivatives analyst and structurer at JP Morgan in London. Tranter has been replaced at Morgan Stanley by Giussepe de Stani.
