HSBC bolsters Asian team

HSBC has appointed Gary Hung as managing director and head of intermediaries, north Asia in Wealth Management Sales, Global Markets.

Hung, who is based in Hong Kong, will be responsible for managing the intermediaries business for Greater China and Korea with a focus on third-party retail distribution channels in respect of the product capabilities of Global markets. He will report to Ken Sue, managing director and head of Wealth Management Sales, Asia Pacific.

Hung previously worked in the field of wealth management and structured products as director of equity structured solutions at Merrill Lynch in Hong Kong. HSBC Wealth
