New recruits at Merrill

James Chapman has joined Merrill Lynch as director and head of Asia power investment banking. He will head a five-person team, all previously from Lehman Brothers, and report to Naomi Molson, head of consumer, retail, healthcare and multi-industries Asia origination for Merrill Lynch.

At Lehman Brothers, Chapman was responsible for supporting the sourcing and execution of interest rate, forex and commodities hedging, and risk management across the power sector.
