Standard Chartered names commodity heads

Standard Chartered has appointed country heads for its commodity trading and agribusiness (CTA) division in China, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Ian Mote relinquished his role as head of CTA for UAE in Dubai in December and relocated to Shanghai to take on the same role for China. He replaces Rolf Berweger. Mote has been with the bank for 13 years in a variety of roles in the structured trade finance team and within CTA, both in London and Hong Kong. Subramanian Krishnamurthy
