McDermott Will & Emery recruits partner

International law firm McDermott Will & Emery has appointed David Schumacher as a partner in the firm's Houston office.

As part of his new role, Schumacher will be a member of the firm's corporate department and global energy and infrastructure projects group.

Schumacher was formerly managing partner of Houston-based law firm Chadbourne & Parke and is well known in the industry for his role in financing upstream, midstream and downstream global oil and gas projects.

The appointment closely follows
