Icap names new electronic broking CEO

Interdealer broker Icap has appointed John Nixon as chief executive of its electronic broking division.

Nixon replaces existing CEO Jack Jeffery, who joined Icap in 2006 when his previous firm, electronic currency brokerage EBS, was taken over by Icap. Jeffery will continue working at Icap until the end of June to complete the handover.
